Diet how they chow, converted to grams per day
The amount field takes simple math, handy for batches: 400*2/10 is 400 g in a
10-cup batch fed 2 cups a day. Pick a unit and how often it is fed; everything is converted to grams per day.
Values per 100 g come from USDA FoodData Central, manufacturers, or estimates (marked ~). Changes are saved in
this browser, and the address bar always links to the current diet.

Nutrients per day per the AAFCO adult-maintenance profile
| Nutrient | Range | Status |
|---|
Most nutrients have no AAFCO maximum, and being well above a minimum is normal for complete foods. Where another published upper figure exists (EU legal limits, NRC, FEDIAF) it is drawn as a dashed line and a diet above it reads “above advisory level”, with the reasoning and source in its tooltip. When the calories are short, most nutrients will be too: feed more before adding supplements. This is a planning tool, not a veterinary formulation.
